SON STABBED MOTHER

A former Centennial high school football player who was convicted of stabbing his mother 35 times in 2001 may soon be released from prison. Parker Chamberlain was 15 when he attacked his mom, Torie Knapp, a beloved teacher, as she slept in her bed. Chamberlain was sentenced to 26 years in prison but his juvenile conviction could be overturned by a new law. He blamed his use of steroids for the rage he felt against his mother. Chamberlain will be back in court January 14th, 2019.
