AT&T land line customers in Oildale lost the ability to call 9-1-1 or make any outgoing calls for about 45 minutes on Thursday, although an explanation has not been given. The Sheriff’s Office announced the outage at 1:15pm, saying people could still get incoming calls. Affected prefixes were 387, 391, 392, 393 and 399.
