The new owners of the Mexicali West restaurant building on California Avenue want to tear it down and put up two new retail buildings. The Bakersfield Californian reports Dollinger Properties filed the request with the city this week, noting the company also owns several other buildings in the same shopping center at the corner of Stockdale Hwy. City staff has started the review process.
