The Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit has made a major drug bust in the Rexland Acres area of southeast Bakersfield and made two arrests. The suspects are identified as 27-year-old Marco Antonia Cuevas Gonzales and 45-year-old Eluit Diaz Lopez. Deputies say they found five pounds of cocaine worth over $181-thousand, plus over a pound-and-a-half of heroin worth more than $59-thousand Friday at the residence on Salazar Avenue, along with items used in illegal drug sales.
