At least thirty-one school districts will be represented at this weekend’s teacher hiring fair in downtown Bakersfield. Evelyn Feliciano at the Superintendent of Schools Office says they’re hiring all types of credentialed positions, plus specialties like occupational therapists and school nurses. “We’re encouraging individuals who hold Bachelor’s Degrees that are interested in becoming substitute teachers to also come to the fair as well.” People who have not pre-registered may still come by the Larry E. Reider Education Center Saturday at 11:00, it’s on K Street.
