An 82-year-old man found dead in Caliente over the weekend has been identified. The Kern County Sheriff’s Office says Gary Griffen Allen was found deceased in the 28000-Block of J-Street. Authorities say they’ll now conduct an examination of Allen’s remains to determine the cause and manner of death.
