A Bakersfield attorney representing three victims of the North High School sexual misconduct case says he’s not only suing the suspect, equipment manager Edwin Rodriguez, but school officials and the district. David Cohn told reporters Wednesday he thinks they knew about the problem all along. “The school, I believe, did have notice of conduct that was out of the ordinary that apparently the school just simply ignored.” Cohn says he’d like to know how Rodriguez was able to sign his alleged victims out of class. A lawsuit was filed last week by attorney Daniel Rodriguez on behalf of two other girls.
