Bakersfield Police say the second robbery suspect in an officer involved shooting is a 17-year-old boy who is in stable condition at a hospital. He faces multiple charges, as does 20-year-old Nathan Salazar who is in jail. Both were wounded last week by Sgt. Shane Shaff as they left La Villa Restaurant on Planz Road. Shaff has been with BPD for over 17 years, he’s now on paid leave while the department investigates.
