The annual Shoes for the Homeless campaign in Bakersfield has resulted in three-thousand pairs being donated in April. Roscoe Rolnick at Guarantee Shoe Center on Chester Avenue and 21st Street credits the generosity of the community. More than 80-thousand pairs have been collected in the 26 years of the drive.
