This weekend’s sobriety checkpoint by Bakersfield Police resulted in four arrests for drinking and driving, and two of those people had previous arrests for DUI. Over 12-hundred vehicles were screened Saturday night and early Sunday on Union Avenue near Texas Street, 38 drivers were found to be unlicensed and 22 had a suspended license.
