Foreman Found Guilty in 1979 Bakersfield Murder

He’s guilty. A Kern County Jury says Prentice Foreman did commit murder in connection with the death of 18-year Dawn Koons at a Bakersfield apartment complex back in 1979. The now-61-year-old Foreman was arrested two years ago in the case. Both he and the victim lived in the same apartment complex when her death happened. She was discovered naked in a bathtub. Foreman is expected to be sentenced July 10 and faces 25-years to life in prison.
