Someone found dead inside a detached garage that caught fire this morning. It happened in Rosamond off Franklin Ave near Rosamond Blvd. Kern County Fire responded around 4:45am and had the blaze under control within minutes but did discover the body during a search. The cause is under investigation. The garage was on the property of a house that did not catch fire.
