He was helping in the search for a missing hiker on Mt. Baldy in San Bernardino County, today a member of the rescue crew is dead. Authorities say the body of recently married schoolteacher Tim Staples was found inside an ice chute Saturday. He was a 9-year volunteer with the county search and rescue team. Crews were looking for a 52-year-old Irvine man who vanished back on December 8th.
