It’s apparently back on. Assemblyman Vince Fong says he’s secured 10.3-million dollars in funding for a widening project set for Highway 46 west of Bakersfield. He adds funding for Highway 99 widening has also been restored for sections of Tulare and Madera Counties. The California Transportation Commission still has to take a final vote on the transportation plan, and that’s set for next Spring.
