Monsignor Craig Harrison says he’s filing a defamation suit against both the Diocese of Fresno and their Director of Communications.

At issue, according to a statement from Harrison’s attorneys, are remarks made by the director, who also serves as the diocese’s chancellor, as published on the website of a San Francisco TV station. Those remarks were published back in May 2019. The lawsuit is being filed in Kern County Superior Court.
