GET says they are closing their Golden State Avenue administration offices to the public starting Mar. 17.

Bakersfield CA –We are undoubtedly in unprecedented times and realize that the situation
regarding COVID-19 is ever changing at incredible speed. With COVID-19 in the news daily,
GET Riders may wonder what steps are being taken to help prevent the spread of all types of
illness on public transportation. GET is actively monitoring the situation and consulting daily
with the local Public Health Department.
What you can expect in the days to come from GET:
 The Administration Offices at 1830 Golden State Avenue will close to the public and
vendor starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
 Applications and temporary passes will be distributed at the Downtown Transit Center.
 GET is working on reducing service levels in the days to come as demand warrants.
