Zogg Fire Fully Contained, Burning Over 56-Thousand Acres

(Shasta County, CA) — The Zogg Fire is fully contained. After claiming the lives of four people and scorching over 56-thousand acres in Shasta County, Cal Fire reports that full containment has been reached. Firefighters will continue to patrol the area within the next few days. This comes as much needed relief to firefighters who continue to battle the blazes across the state ahead of high temperatures this week. The Zogg Fire ignited on September 27th and has destroyed more than 200 structures.
