The CHP-Mojave has confirmed a Navy Fighter jet crashed near the intersection of Hwy 178 and Hwy 14 near Inyokern.There are no fatalities in the crash. The CHP says the pilot was able to eject from the aircraft and was being treated near the scene of the crash. Traffic was said to be impacted, but no roads were closed. It’s too early to tell what caused the crash at this time. China Lake Naval Air Station is handling the investigation.
