Senate Confirms Barrett For Supreme Court

(Washington, DC) — Federal Judge Amy Coney Barrett will be the next justice of the U.S. Supreme Court after being confirmed by the Senate. President Trump picked the conservative Barrett to replace the liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a little more than a week after Ginsburg died. Democrats accused Republicans of conducting a “mad rush” to get Barrett confirmed, shortly before the presidential election. Barrett is an appeals court judge from Indiana.
