It’s six years in prison for a Bakersfield woman accused of murdering her boyfriend.Michaele Bowers learned her fate this morning in a Kern County courtroom after two trials and years of maintaining she acted in self-defense. She was accused of killing J’s Place chef Ray Ingram, who Bowers had dated on and off for several years. The 53-year-old Bowers pled no contest to voluntary manslaughter last month.
