New Order Allows Older Californians To Renew Drivers Licenses By Mail

(Sacramento, CA) — Older Californians can skip a trip to the DMV to renew their license. Governor Gavin Newsom signed a new executive order that lets older people renew their driver’s licenses by mail. The relaxed rules help keep licenses updated without requiring at-risk residents 70 and up to leave their homes. The order will last until Newsom modifies its provisions or the state of emergency is lifted.
