Good news from the state as Kern County’s reopening metrics are hitting the requirements to move on to the next tier of reopening. Michelle Corson with Kern Public Health says if we make the red tier, restaurants and movie theaters can reopen as well as gyms. Two of the three metrics are already being met for the next tier of reopening, the orange tier, but we would have to be in the red tier for at least three weeks before that can happen.
