On April 6, 2021 at 3:53 p.m., deputies responded to the 600 block of Cottonwood Road for a victim of a shooting.Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside of a storefront business. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. There is no suspect information at this time.

The doors to the business, which was later determined to be an illegal marijuana dispensary, were secured with a lock and chain. To ensure there weren’t additional victims inside, deputies made entry. No one else was located. While inside the business, deputies discovered a large amount of processed marijuana and THC products. Narcotics detectives responded to assist patrol deputies with the seizure of marijuana and related products pursuant to a search warrant.
