The Bakersfield Police Department is looking for information regarding a fatal stabbing near Ming Avenue and H Street. On June 2, 2021, at about 02:50 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Ming Avenue regarding a victim of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was pronounced
deceased at the scene by medical aid personnel. Bakersfield Police Department Homicide Detectives responded and assumed the investigation. The identity of the victim will be released by the Kern County Coroner’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.
