UPDATE: BPD have located the stolen truck but all the items inside have been removed.The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in obtaining information and locating a stolen 26 foot white box moving truck.

The truck was stolen from the parking lot of the Roadway Inn and Suites on September 17th at about 6:30 AM. The truck contained everything the victim owns, including multi-generational family heirlooms that are irreplaceable.

The truck has distinctive logos on each side “Longhorn rents trucks.”

Bakersfield Police Sgt. Robert Pair says the victim was passing through town.
