The McFarland Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for homicide.The full release is below:

On 10/19/2019 at 0900 hours, McFarland Police Department officers were dispatched to 134035 So. Frontage Road regarding a victim of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a McFarland resident identified as Emiliano Rico inside the residence. Mr. Rico had suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene. This is an on-going homicide investigation, and the McFarland Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance with this investigation.
