Bakersfield Police Arrest Serial Robbery Suspect

The Bakersfield Police Department has taken a juvenile suspect into custody for a string of armed robberies around Bakersfield.

On December 29th, officers with the Bakersfield Police Department arrested Jaleyn Prevost (22) of Bakersfield for a string of serial armed robbery offenses that occurred in the City of Bakersfield. Prevost was arrested with no incident. He was transported and booked into the Kern County Jail for eight counts of armed robbery.

The charged offenses are regarding the following incidents:
11/27/21 Robbery of the Chevron Gas Station, 5609 Stine Road
12/07/21 Robbery of the Little Caesars Restaurant, 3400 Panama Lane
12/10/21 Robbery of the Pizza Hut, 4708 Planz Road
12/11/21 Robbery of the AMPM, 6450 White Lane
12/17/21 Robbery of the Circle K, 5634 Stine Road
12/19/21 Robbery of the Little Caesars Restaurant, 5602 California Avenue
12/24/21 Robbery of the Dollar General, 2728 South Chester Avenue
12/26/21 Robbery of the AMPM, 2698 Mount Vernon Avenue
