The Bakersfield Police Department is searching for a man wanted for a fatal shooting earlier this month.

The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting murder of an adult male on January 9th, 2022 in the 3100 block of Coventry Drive.

Alberto Noriega (24) of Bakersfield, an early release non-violent AB 109 offender has an active arrest warrant for murder:

Noriega is described as a Hispanic Adult Male, 6’1”, approximately 230 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, neck tattoo

Anyone with information regarding Noriega’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Bakersfield Police Department. Noriega should not be approached and may be armed.
