Deputies with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office are on-scene of a homicide investigation in east Bakersfield.

Few details are known at this time but deputies responded Monday morning to a residence in the 2100 block of Lake Street near Mount Vernon Avenue. One adult male victim was confirmed deceased according to a KCSO spokeswoman.
