A check was presented Thursday morning from Fastrip Food Stores to local homeless shelter, The Mission at Kern County.

Fastrip Director of Stores Rich Abel was on hand and presented the check saying the Mission is one of the most practical ways to give back to the community seeing what they do to help those in need.

Mission Executive Director Carlos Baldovinos says they 100% rely on community partnerships and it’s so important for them to have an organizations like Fastrip involved believing in the community.
