Robbery Suspect Wanted by Bakersfield Police

Officers with the Bakersfield Police Department are looking for a suspect wanted for robbery at Dollar World in northeast Bakersfield.

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect. The offense occurred on March 10th, 2022, at about 1:37 PM at Dollar World located at 4128 Chester Avenue. The suspect selected several items from display shelves and exited the business without paying for the items. The suspect entered a brown four door Nissan with a sunroof, black rims, and started to flee the area. When confronted by store employees, the suspect vehicle accelerated and dragged an employee that was attempting to recover the stolen items. The employee sustained serious injury as a result of being dragged.

The suspect is described as:

White or Hispanic Male, 30 years old, several tattoos on hands and arms, wearing a black baseball style hat, white tank top, black pants, and black and white shoes.
