One man has died after being shot Sunday night.

Around 11:30 p.m., Bakersfield Police responded to the 8600 block of Avila Street near Giovanetti Avenue. When officers arrived, 26-year-old Jarvis Naff Jr. was located suffering from major injuries due to multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.

There is no suspect information at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call Bakersfield Police.
