If you’re looking to do some grilling this Summer, Houchin Blood Bank has the goods. From now till Saturday, June 18th, successful donors at either of the Houchin’s donor centers or mobile drive will be entered to win a pellet Ledge Grill and grill accessories courtesy of The Bulk Yard.

Community Blood Bank (HCBB) will be giving away a brand–new Ledge Grill sponsored by The Bulk Yard. This giveaway is over $1,000 value and starts on Wednesday, June 1st and will end on Saturday, June 18th.

HCBB is raising the “steaks” and encouraging Kern County to donate blood this summer. Summer time is historically known for low donations and with the national blood supply still suffering, local donations are more important than ever.

Blood donors must be in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be at least 17 years old or 16 years old with a parent or guardian consent.
