UPDATE: The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest. According to the KCSO, 80-year-old Guadalupe Mojica was arrested on Chester Avenue while possessing a loaded firearm.

Two individuals have died after a homicide call-out occurred Tuesday morning in Oildale.

Deputies were called around 8:40 a.m. to the 700 block of Decatur Street near Sequoia Drive. When they arrived, two adults were found suffering from trauma and pronounced at the scene. Homicide detectives were then called.
