A man has died following a solo vehicle crash Wednesday morning.

Around 7:55 a.m., Fort Tejon-area California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched to a crash at the Outlets on Outlets Drive. When they arrived, an adult male was located with fatal injures and the vehicle battery had caught fire. Investigators determined the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed when he hit a concrete pillar. He was not wearing a seat belt and ejected.

CHP Officer D.C. Williams says drugs and alcohol are unknown factors at this time.
