TMZ reports Torey Lanez was attacked by another prisoner Monday in the yard at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi.

Lanez was taken to Bakersfield hospital. Authorities say his injuries are not life threatening.

Lanez is serving ten years for shooting Grammy winner hip- hop artist Megan Thee Stallion, striking her in the feet.

The motive for the attack is still under investigation .
