“KUZZ Morning Match Give-Away”
May 27, 2025 through TBD
1. The following Cash Prize will be awarded:
Up to $1000 will be awarded when a contestant correctly guesses all the answers on the survey board without making an incorrect guess in the process.
2. Participants may qualify for to win the “Morning Match Give-Away” one way:
(A) Contestant will choose to play with either Kenn or Ness. Once made, their decision is final and cannot be changed. In the event Kenn or Ness is not on the air that day, Brent will set in their place.
The contestant’s selected host will leave the studio while the remaining host will run through a five question word association game with the contestant. Once the game is completed, the remaining host will bring the selected host back into the studio. The selected host will be given the same five word association questions as the contestant. For every answer given that matches the contestant, the contestant will win $50. Should the contestant and selected host match all five answers, the contestant will win $1000. If the selected host and contestant match no answers, there are no monetary winnings, but the contestant is eligible to call in and play again at a future date.
For a contestant and selected host to match, their answers must be exactly the same with the exception of singular/plural answers (for example, if given the question “Water _______”, the contestant answers “bottle”… “bottle” or “bottles” are considered correct matching answers.
3. All contestants must be California residents at least 18 years old with a valid California drivers license.
4. Employees of Buck Owens Production Company, Inc. / KUZZ AM/FM / KCWR AM / KRJK FM and their families are not eligible to win the Grand Prize or prizes in this contest.
5. The Prize winner must meet all eligibility requirements and provide contest sponsors with proper identification when picking up the prize and sign all release forms related to the prize.
6. Winner will be responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes.
7. The odds of winning the Grand Prize depends on the total number of entry forms submitted during this promotion.
8. Prizes are non-transferrable.
9. By entering the giveaway, the winner of the prize consents without limitations and without additional compensation, to the use of his or her name, voice, photograph and/or likeness on advertising, promotional materials, and other related purposes. Prior to delivery of the prize, an affidavit attesting to his or her eligibility, and consent of the use of his or her name, voice, and likeness must be signed.
10. This offer of participation is void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations shall apply to this giveaway.
11. Decision regarding the winner and all contest details are final.
