Two men are dead following a shooting in east Bakersfield.

Kern County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday to reports of shotS fired in the area of Flower and Virginia streets where they found the men dead at the scene.

There’s no word yet on the victims’ identities, suspects, or what prompted the shooting.
