Kern County firefighters tackled a two-alarm fire at a poultry farm near Wasco.

Flames broke out at around 2:20 Tuesday afternoon at Central Valley Eggs near Highway 46 and Gun Club Road.

41 first responders rolled out to the three-story building where all the employees got out safely and no chickens were hurt.

No firefighters were injured.

The cause of the blaze in under investigation.
