A 19-year-old man will spend four years in prison for assaulting a customer at a central Bakersfield fast food restaurant.
Quintin Flight was sentenced Monday after pleading no contest to charges of assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism after he threw a large rock at a man in a pickup in the drive-thru at McDonalds on F Street in May.
The rock shattered the driver’s window. The victim was injured and required treatment at the hospital.
Surveillance video captured the incident. Police caught Flight later in the day in the 1200 block of Monterey Street.
Flight was credited with 98 days served including 46 days for good behavior and will serve his sentence at Kern Valley State Prison in Delano..
