The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help identifying a man accused of stealing electric vehicle chargers at a central Bakersfield business in June.

It happened at around 5:25 a.m. June 16, at Brooks Brothers Interior on Brundage Lane, where the suspect and one other person allegedly sawed off eight EV charging cables from the electric charger terminals in the business’ parking lot.

The suspect is described as White, 20 to 30 years old, 5’10” tall, and 185 pounds. He was wearing a black hat, black t-shirt, black pants, and riding an electric-style scooter.
