A man’s body was pulled from the Kern River Saturday morning.

Volunteer search and rescue teams with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office made the discovery near Hobo Campground.

The coroner will release the man’s name at a later date.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office reminds you that river conditions can be extremely dangerous during the summer months.

You’re advised to use caution near the water and to observe all posted safety warnings.
