The alleged killer of a Taft teenager says he’s not guilty of murder.
Sebastian Dominguez, 19, entered a not guilty plea to one count of murder last week after he allegedly shot Brody Davis, 17, at Panorama Park in northeast Bakersfield August 17.
Police say Davis was trying to deescalate a potential fight when he was shot.
Dominguez was arrested in the Silver Creek neighborhood of southwest Bakersfield several hours after the shooting .
He’s being held without bail and returns to court for a pretrial hearing on Thursday.
