A 15-year-old boy has admitted to all counts filed against him following a fatal shooting at a park in east Bakerfield.

Anthony Lopez made the admission during a hearing in juvenile court last week. He’s charged with involuntary manslaughter and use of a gun in the death of Leana Perez, 23, at Heritage Park on Bernard Street July 12.

Perez died at Kern Medical.

Sentencing is scheduled for next month.
