Three people are behind bars on suspicion of operating a large methamphetamine conversion lab in eastern Kern County.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office, the Los Angeles Police Department, the Kern County District Attorney’s Office, and the Department of Fish and Wildlife conducted a narcotics investigation that led to a search warrant served Wednesday in the 19000 block of Desert View Avenue in North Edwards.

762 pounds of meth and 100 pounds of meth in solution were seized. The three suspects, all Mexican nationals, were captured as they tried to run.

They face numerous gun and drug charges.
