A body has been found behind a dumpster in a southwest Bakersfield shopping complex.

Police say foul play is not suspected after the discovery Tuesday afternoon in the 6500 block of Panama Lane.

Officers say the individual is believed to have been homeless. There’s no evidence suggesting the person’s death was the result of a crime.

The name will be released later by the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
