An assistant basketball coach at Cal State Bakersfield will be arraigned Tuesday on charges of possessing child pornography.

Secret Service investigators say they discovered more than 3,000 illicit images and videos on 32-year old Brian Mays’s cell phone, some of which depicted girls under the age of four.

Mays is being held on $500,000 bail following his arrest September 4 on pimping and pandering charges after a confidential informant told Bakersfield police Mays had a woman prostituting herself and giving him her earnings.

Police say they found cash, a loaded gun, and suspected methamphetamine in Mays’s car and more guns including three ghost guns and drugs during a search of his home.
