Two Bakersfield men have been arraigned on charges of possessing and distributing child pornography.

Conner Rubalcado, 22, and Ryan Jackson, 32, entered not guilty pleas Tuesday to two counts related to child sexual abuse material. Jackson also faces a misdemeanor charge for possessing methamphetamine.

The men were apprehended Sunday after a search warrant was served in south Bakersfield by the Bakersfield Police Department, Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, United States Secret Service, and the FBI. The investigation started from a lead provided by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Jackson and Rubalcado return to court October 2.
