A 42-year-old man has been sentenced after pleading no contest to a charge of involuntary manslaughter in connection with a deadly stabbing in Taft.

Michael McClintock will spend five years in prison for stabbing Randy Stark, 63, to death in the 300 block of Crystal Street in November 2024.

McClintock was tracked to Midland, Texas, where he was arrested in January.
