The investigation continues into a fatal shooting near an east Bakersfield restaurant.

Police responded just after 1:00 a.m Tuesday to a Shot-Spotter alert near Pyrenees Cafe in the 600 block of Summer Street.

Officers found a man with a gunshot wound who was pronounced dead at the scene.
